Morzine and Activites

About Morzine

Located in the centre of Morzine, The Barn offers a superb location with everything this wonderful town has to offer right on its doorstep. Morzine is a traditional family town set within charming picturesque surroundings. The architecture is distinctly Savoyarde, with beautiful old farmhouses and chalets throughout, clustered around the church of Sainte Marie Madeline.

Situated in the middle of ‘Les Portes du Soleil’ – an area of outstanding natural beauty – Morzine retains all the charm and character of an old fashioned Alpine village, and for those who to step back in time, there are horses and carts for hire.

If you’re looking to sample some local food whilst staying in Morzine, head to the weekly market, where you can enjoy regional cheeses or charcuterie. Or for the enthusiastic shopper, wander around the wide range of shops and boutiques that the town has to offer.
